The Chase the Race curriculum provides students the opportunity to:
- Participate in an academic campaign simulation that highlights current political issues and fosters core college and career readiness skills
- Take on a role in a mock senate election, creating a platform based on current issues relating to state demographics
- Gain real-world experience, building skills in key areas such as: communication and team-building, networking, achieving consensus, constructing and defending platforms and ideas, crisis management, conflict resolution, public speaking and debate
