Q&A With Macey H. 

• What is the most memorable moment of your program experience?

  All of the people I've had the opportunity to meet. Coming from a small town, it didn't seem possible, but I now have such a diverse group of friends that spans different continents.

• How has the program encouraged you to take action in your school or community?

  I gained individuality when I attended my Envision programs. I have the courage to help and lead others now. I try to do just that in everything I do, whether it be helping a classmate with homework or trying out a new club.

• What inspires you as a young leader?

  A constant goal in mind helps to keep me inspired. A vision for my future helps me lead because I know what I'm working towards.

• How is attending the program different than learning in a traditional classroom?

  There is more hands-on learning and exploring of your environment. Everyone who attends is willing to work hard so the outcomes of collaborations are always amazing. This environment allows for true meeting of minds.

• How has your program experience helped you focus on a career path

  I've been able to explore a few different career paths from the different Envision programs I've attended and that has helped me open my eyes to what I'd like to do in life.

• What are your professional aspirations?

  I hope to one day own and operate my own business. I love the theater, and I love business. It's my dream to be able to open my own theater.

• How has your program experience impacted your life and your future?

  I was able to narrow down what I want to do with my life due to the fact that I've experienced it. I have a goal now that I keep in mind wherever I go and it helps me lead.

• What would you tell other students who are interested in attending an Envision program?

  Envision programs offer so many things to those who attend. You make new friends, learn new things, explore interesting places, and gain independence and individuality as a young leader.
