National Student Leadership Week (April 17-23) is upon us. This year the theme “Right Here, Right Now” encourages students to take actions to impact their school and community, and share it on Instagram using the
#NSLW16 hashtag.
“During National Student Leadership Week, schools around the country recognize and reinforce the important role of student leaders. Every little bit counts—from small gestures to bigger community projects,” says the National Association of Student Councils.
Students can get more information about how to participate using the handy social media kit created by the Association. There are plenty of suggested actions as well as images for interested parties. The media kit also offers leadership quotes to share.
In addition to hosting the Presidential Inauguration Leadership Summit this January to help students advance their leadership skills (hint, hint), we thought it would be fun to participate in this week’s activities.
